How to Hang a Chinese Coromandel Screen in your Entryway

Great!

Worked great, though I had to remove the hinges, as it was too heavy as a single screen. I wish the top brackets could be moved down 1/2" to secure the tops.

Hi Harry, thank you for your 5-star review! We're glad the brackets worked great for you and the installation looks lovely in your home. Since the front lip of the bracket is completely removable, feel free to move the brackets tighter to your screen for a snug and secure fit!

Transforming their Chinese Coromandel Screen from a floor-standing folding screen to a wall-mounted work of art was a perfect fit!

Harry used our Narrow Heavy Duty Adjustable Brackets which were specifically designed to camouflage themselves for this exact type of Chinese multi-part screen. The slim profile fits the narrow post of most traditional wooden screens of this type with "feet". Made of 3mm thick solid steel, they're made to carry the heavy weight of a solid wood screen like this one.

Even in a space where you'll often be very close to it, these mounting brackets are a minimalist style so that they practically disappear. Here's a zoomed-in view of how they fit.

These heavy duty adjustable brackets are also crafted in two parts so that they can be firmly mounted in a manner that clamps the screen tightly without pinching. Take a look below for how they can be adjusted on the top edge at the final stage.
